Do you give lectures for institutions?
Yes. Public lectures, research seminars, training for libraries and institutes: requests are made through the appointment form, specifying the context and the dates envisaged.
Are the courses accessible to beginners?
Two of the four cycles are designed for students without prior Arabic; texts are read there in annotated translation, with a gradual introduction to the technical vocabulary.
Can a manuscript be submitted for expertise?
An initial assessment can be made from good-quality photographs. Please specify the provenance, the format and the condition of the copy.
Are the books available outside France?
Yes, international shipping is available. Institutions may also order directly from the publishers, the Centre Jacques Berque and Gorgias Press.
